Quick Summary:

South Mountain is just about right in the middle of the city of Phoenix, yet not many people realize what a great resource it is.  Sure, it's like a vast wasteland on a hot summer day, but in the mornings and evenings the scenery and wildlife come alive.  Not only that, South Mountain Park is home to hundreds of ancient Indian petroglyph sites!  Here's a shot of Brenda at one of those sites.
