We saw alot during this leg of the trip since, besides Ashland, we also took sidetrips to see Crater Lake (as seen in photo on right) and Lassen Volcanic Park. This ultimately ended up as alot of driving which kinda sucked, but it was worth it to see these sights (see Photo Album for lots more on Crater Lake and the Lassen experience)
Ashland itself is also a neat little college town made famous by their Shakespeare Theatre Festival. We had a good time just relaxing and walking around Ashland. It's a great walking town.
