We hiked up to Grinnell Lake which is just below Grinnell Glacier. The 1st photo shows a view of the lake while the 2nd shows the glacier itself. The glacier is the horizontal snowy area in the center of the photo just above the waterfall (Grinnell Falls).
On our final day at Glacier, we lucked out as the "Going to the Sun" road was finally opened after a long winter closure. The Going to the Sun Road traverses the trecherous Logan Pass as it passes east to west across the park. Here's two shots from along the road...the first shot shows the reason why it takes until June 21st to open the road while the 2nd one is the view from Logan Pass.
Here's one of the many waterfalls seen along the road. The 2nd photo shows a view of the valley below as seen from the Going to the Sun Road.
