Yachats, Oregon

Yachats, Oregon
(along the Oregon Coast)

Brenda's Update:

We were incredibly lucky to be staying at the Oregon House just south of Cape Perpetua National Scenic Area. The coast here is very deserted and rocky. The extremely low tide gave us an opportunity to explore the tide pools on the beach below the Oregon House cliffs. A short distance down the coast was the Heceta Head lighthouse (photo above), reportedly the Most Photographed Lighthouse in the Country.

John's Update:

Aaahhhh, the good life! Relaxing on the 2nd floor balcony of our room, enjoying my favorite beverage overlooking the crashing waves along the Oregon coast. In this case, my favorite beverage is a Norwester Blacksmith Porter, but, once again, that's subject to change without notice. This is ultimate! I think I'll have another beer.
