Almost Done

These are photos of the car after all the mechanical work was done and before the Tripoint fender flare kit as added. Here's what the car looked like with it's new nose still in primer. This picture was taken with the Tokico springs. The car was REALLY low to the ground - a little too low.

Since the motor is the big news, I have three pictures of the engine compartment. The first shows the motor from the front of the car. The red, powder-coated parts were all fabricated by Mitch Piper at PFS. They are parts of the exhaust system that didn't come with the motor. The second shows the passenger's side with the K & N filter. You can see the electric fan on the stolen-from-NASCAR radiator. The third shows the driver's side with the two Electromotive Tec II units, although you can see only the top one in this photo.

The next three show the new nose (Mode 5 from Mariah Motorsports). This modification was necessary to get enough air to keep all the cooling parts happy. The second picture was taken after the adjustable coilover springs from Ground Control were added, and the car was raised. You can't see it clearly in the third photo, but there is an oil cooler mounted on each side.
