I'm not going to do a very long and drawn out biography because I found the most comprehensive and well-written biography I've ever seen here. There are many other biographies on the web as well, so why be redundant? Here is some basic information about Val that you probably already know.

Val Kilmer presently resides in New Mexico. He is divorced from his wife of seven years, Joanne Whalley-Kilmer. They have two children together, a daughter, Mercedes, and a son, Jack. Val loves animals and has horses, dogs, cats, chickens and 3 buffaloes at his New Mexico ranch. He is related to the famous poet Joyce Kilmer, they are second cousins, twice removed. Parade Magazine is quoted as saying his ethnic background is a mixture of Swedish, German, Mongolian, Scottish, Irish and Cherokee.
